Locolist is FREE. For selfish reasons I am committed to keep this forum open to ALL the Location Scouts and Managers.  It has benefited  me greatly. It helped me get into the Union, get jobs, rub shoulders with the top professionals in the field, get advice, news and entertainment. It even helped me launch a business. Why would I want to chase people away asking for "dues"? Having said that, it does take time and money to keep Locolist running. It costs about $1,000 a year to keep the archives online and it does take a bit of time to deal with various mini dramas that pop up every week. Some people believe that I deserve compensation for the time I spend as the mailing list administrator and virtual MC. Others think that any blind monkey could do it . Whatever you believe is fine with me. If you'd like to say: "Thank you Marino, Locolist is worth a couple bucks a month." send me $24 ,no more, no less, I'll appreciate it. If not, that's fine, I love you just the same. After all it's you the Locolisters that keep this community humming.
